Last month was full of fun rug making. First I played with Proddy.
Then it was off to the Nimble Thimble for a 2 day workshop with Martha Lowry from Houston. It was a wonderful class in which she taught LOTS of interesting techniques. Many of them involved sewing wool to the linen which was very different. I wasn't able to use every technique in this small rug (YELLOW BASKET by Edyth O'Neill) but went home with plenty of inspiration for the future.
My next rug was a whimsical flower rug that reminds me of spring.
Hmm I wonder what is next!
