natural dyed yarns

Over the past two weeks, Genevieve and I have managed to dye quite a bit of yarn, in between doing all of our other chores at work. We are thrilled with the results.
From top to bottom the yarns were dyed with onion skins, English ivy and rosemary (both are green), eucalyptus, avacado skins and black walnuts. Different wools took the color up differently making a nice range of color. We aren't sure what we are doing with any of it yet, other then looking at it. If I know Genevieve her project will involve something lacy. I'll get inspired one of these days to knit something fabulous.
