Sunday several of us hosted a lovely bridal shower. My nephew is marrying a wonderful girl and we all adore her. She was literally showered with fabulous gifts. Everyone was so thoughtful and generous. I love the whole concept of showers. I think it generates such hope for the future of the couple. I always say I am not sentimental. Maybe I am when it comes to marriage and all it stands for. It's just nice to see young people in love.
