Two months ago was my last posting for several reasons. First my computer was acting kind of crazy and every time I rotated a picture it disappeared on me. I just couldn't deal with it. I quit taking pictures so I wouldn't feel like I needed to do something with them. Finally that problem is solved. Sometimes technology is just too much for me. Most of all though I think summer was still wearing on me. Fall just didn't feel right until lately. What has inspired me now is autumn and all the gorgeous colors still gracing East Texas. It's the most amazing thing to see. With Christmas at the end of the week I can hardly believe we are still able to enjoy the foliage. It seems like such a gift when we all know the trees had such a struggle this year. Plus, many other plants like ornamental grasses and spiraea are quite colorful too.
