Fall is Near

As soon as the nights begin to cool off, the colors in the coleus foliage get so vivid. I love planting coleus of all kinds. It fills up space in the garden nicely and the foliage is perfect to cut for flower arrangements.
Even flower colors deepen with the weather change. Actually it's pretty exciting right now because a lot of plants are relieved and have started to bloom more.

.Ornamental grasses are beautiful too. You have to admit in Texas the onset of fall can be quite a thrill. We are all more than ready to be done with 90 degree temperatures. I saw 2 giant wagon loads of pumpkins for sale today so it's official. It's time to plant and decorate again.
