The Sweetest Dog

Emma and Bailey

 

Our friend of 10 years, Emma had to be put down yesterday. She was a sweet dog from day one when we adopted her as a rescue at Petsmart. We needed  a friend for Bailey and the two of them ran and swam together for years. Bailey is still with us at 15 years old.

 

 

Emma was always ready for a walk or a drive. She was the best company while I gardened and I always felt she was scaring away any snakes. As she got older you'd find her in the evenings piled on our bed. That is, when she wasn't insisting on having a dog treat. We will miss her dearly and are just so happy to have spent all those years with her in our home.
