A Thrilling Moment

Hooking rugs makes me happy but it is very special when a friend thinks what you have done is nice. Jennifer talked me into making pillows out of my latest rugs and she will put them in her home. It is a thrill for sure. I have lovely supportive friends. I thank them for their encouragement.

I've been fascinated with vegetables lately. Their are so many pretty colors in nature. Swiss chard is inspiring me now. I got some incredible hand dyed fabric yarn last week at Rose Path Weaving that looked like the perfect edge for a Swiss chard pillow.

Now don't laugh at my chard. I just started and it isn't right yet but I'll get on it this week and see what I can come up with. Isn't that fabric perfect?

    The white pumpkin is perfect in my bedroom! The greens are just the ones in my bed-side stand! I just love your veggie pillows Sharon.. they are pure joy!

    I think this is the perfect way to vegetable garden and what a "feast" for the eyes. Everyone of the hooked pieces is just beautiful!
