Holiday Fun

I
A dear friend sent me this adorable Patience Brewster Christmas ornament. It added such a great touch of color to my snowy scene. I love it.

My first attempt at a cranberry apple pie was a success. It wasn't too sweet which was nice. I've had my fill of sweets now though and hope to return to simpler eating. The transition is always the hardest. Time for salad greens galore!
Besides eating and visiting and a bit of working, I have managed to find time to craft. The holiday rug is nearly done and I hope by New Year's it will be totally finished. Once January arrives I am always starting to think about flowers and will want to move on to other projects.

Happy New Year to all!

  3. WOW! You have been busy. I can't believe how much you have accomplished on your rug. I am guessing that it is finished by now...along with the pie!
