Tasty herbs

I am amazed that sorrel grows so well in our climate. I struggle with lavender and rosemary in my ill-drained soil but sorrel loves it. I had a plant in my original herb garden and it lived14 years. Imagine!
This is my new one in the raised bed garden and it seems equally happy. I rarely use it though. I've had sorrel soup and it's good and Mary served it on  salmon burgers the other night and that was yummy. I'm going to have to use it more since it rewards me with luscious growth.
Don't forget chive blossoms are edible. It's a treat to put them in a salad while the plants are blooming.
