The best time for a tour of the gardens is first thing in the morning. I can almost fool myself into thinking it won't be close to 100 degrees today. I am loving my daylilies. I have no color scheme when it comes to them. I like them all.
This is a Gloriosa lily that is in a pot in my greenhouse. It vines up a trellis. I remember seeing an 8 foot long fence in New Orleans covered with this plant years ago. it was spectacular. Unfortunatley it isn't winterhardy outside here so it must stay in a pot.
A lot of my roses are blooming again.
My dogs always enjoy a tour with me. Especially Emma the blond lab staring at the camera. She's my girl.
