Last June I started this hooked rug of the American flag. It is a pattern of a flag from Thomas Jeffersons time and I am hooking it to look old. I didn't finish it last year. When I took it out again this June and added the words around the edge it made it quite a bit larger. So once again it will not be done before the holiday.I am enjoying the process and fell festive working on it so I am actually glad it isn't finished. Maybe by year four it will find a special place in my house besides the hooking frame.
