I've been a knitter for 8 years now but I never progress much in my skills. Simple knits without a lot of counting and difficult stitches are fun to do. If the patterns make me think too much I lose my place and make mistakes. I have come to the conclusion that I have nothing to prove and can be a mediocre knitter my whole life and I'll be happy with that. I want to knit to relax and not to be frustrated, so simple it is.
I love this shawl pattern given to me by a friend. It looks attractive yet it is EASY!!!!! It's called the 3S Shawl by Amy A. Meade. Great job designing it Amy.
I finished it in time to give it as a birthday present this week. Now I want to knit one for me.
