It's also time for pumpkins mats. This is the first. The next one will be a white pumpkin and then I may move on to the gigantic harvest rug I started two years ago. That one is going to involve some ripping out because I don't like what I was doing. I think I have a better idea now of where to take it so I am trying to psyche myself up for the project. One thing at a time.
In the meantime, I will continue to think fall. Apples are good again and pears are in season. It's coming!
such gorgeous colors, Sharon!! Just gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteLove your pumpkin, and I can't wait for fall!
ReplyDeleteOh, your talk of fall has me yearning for those cooler temps and all the lovely colors that come with them. Love the idea of a white pumpkin in your design.
ReplyDeleteI'm still chuckling over your comment. Evan always asks me in an almost dismayed voice WHY I continue to knit on the plane because I almost always have to rip it out! LOL! I tell him it is to calm myself and I'm going to keep on doing it. ;)
ReplyDeleteHow funny about the leaves! I noticed them falling like rain this morning in our backyard. "Cooler weather" is a great mantra...
