I am already in the mood for fall and pumpkins. It sounds a bit odd since summer is barely here. I've been thinking pumpkins because it is time to plant them in the garden. Next week we are planting a big patch and it's very exciting. Sunflowers are growing well already.
Another plant I am thrilled to be growing is okra. Now that the weather is so hot mine is starting to grow very nicely. I planted 18 plants but the bunnies got a few. Still, I hope to have enough okra this year to pickle. Yum!
It is always so fun to look forward to the pumpkins!! AND all the great scarecrows you all come up with at Blue Moon!! =) blessings ~ tanna
